Girl Math Capital offers two methods to join our community: cohort or community membership.

Our cohort membership is for women new to alternative investing and includes access to our four-month alternative investing bootcamp. We run cohorts twice a year with start dates in January and August. Cohort 4 applications are NOW OPEN through July 10th!

Our community membership is for accredited investors who have previous alternative investing experience and does not include our four-month curriculum. You can see if you qualify for our community membership below. Community members are accepted on a rolling basis.

Cohort Membership

Cohorts meet bi-weekly from 8-9pm ET on Mondays from over the course of four months. All sessions are virtual. Curriculum is divided into three blocks: angel investing, real estate investing, and cryptocurrency & other investment types. Content is taught in a masterclass-style format by industry experts so you can learn how to develop your investment thesis, analyze opportunities, and ultimately deploy capital.

If you are based in a hub city, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet your fellow members IRL at various in-person events!

Attendance is a critical component of Girl Math, so in applying we ask that you are confident that you will be able to attend most sessions at their regularly scheduled Monday time.

What other benefits do I gain by joining Girl Math?

As a part of our community, you’ll gain access to all deal flow and our deal sharing calls. During this time, we’ll discuss investment opportunities in the pipeline and invite founders to pitch to the group live.

Outside of core curriculum, we regularly bring in other exceptional guest speakers to share their perspective on investing, founding, or operating in their industry. These sessions are open to all Girl Math members, so you can expect to stay involved and supported after completing your core curriculum.

We also have partnerships with recruiting firms to provide Girl Math Capital members with exclusive job opportunities across the finance, tech, and startup ecosystems.

Finally, you’ll gain complementary admission to all Girl Math events and access to the Girl Math directory, which includes member information of all community members and guest speakers.

Community Membership

Outside of our cohorts, we also offer community memberships which are available on a rolling basis. If you are accredited and have previous alternative investing experience personally or professionally and want access to deal flow and deal flow meetings, virtual and in person events, and the network without the introductory education, please apply here. Our community membership fee is $499 per year.

Financial Requirements

  • We require an annual membership of $599 for the first year, payable upon admission. Membership in subsequent years drops to $499. Community memberships are $499 and do not include access to educational sessions.

  • We do not require an investment minimum to participate in the program, but we do recommend members set aside an amount they’re comfortable deploying over the course of the year. You will learn more about how to determine this amount in the angel investing block!

  • You do not need to be an accredited investor to join Girl Math Capital, but you'll find that most investment opportunities shared are limited to accredited investors. We will flag any deals that are open to non-accredited investors, but it is ultimately your responsibility to understand accreditation requirements and comply accordingly on a deal-by-deal basis.
